Hey everyone, it's Aarav and Advik! Eight months ago, we started building something close to our hearts: PawConnect. Our website lists shelters across Hong Kong, Singapore, and India — and we personally checked every single one.

The people behind the platform, and the reason it exists.
Advik Sharma
Advik is a passionate advocate for animal welfare who actively wants to work towards helping the less fortunate pets around him, whether they're street dogs or rescue animals. Driven by a desire to bridge the gap between willing donors and the shelters that need donations, he co-founded PawConnect to create a transparent, trusted platform that shelters can rely on for their funding. Outside of PawConnect, Advik has a dog (Waffle!), and wants to help other pets the way he does his own.
Aarav Mishra
Aarav has grown up across Mumbai and Hong Kong. He is an avid dog lover and was instrumental in pestering his parents into adopting their dog Whiskey from a rescue centre in Hong Kong. He is passionate about the cause of animal welfare and co-founded PawConnect with his friend Advik to contribute to this cause. He also volunteers his time with rescue centres in Hong Kong. Beyond animals, his other passion since childhood is cricket (both playing and watching!). He also enjoys skiing and scuba diving.
